Maryanna Diaz is the Founder and Principal of Willow Informative Services, bringing over two decades of experience delivering mission-focused intelligence, analytics, and operational solutions that empower organizations to navigate complex, high-stakes environments with confidence.
Maryanna began her career serving on Active Duty and in the Virginia Army National Guard as a Military Police Officer, including multiple deployments in support of the Global War on Terrorism. After transitioning from uniformed service, she continued supporting national security missions as a defense contractor and later as an Army Civilian, before moving into the corporate sector. Her roles have included strategic planning, operational integration, and program management for defense and intelligence clients, leading initiatives that translate complex data into actionable insights and establish operational frameworks for organizational excellence.
As a Project Management Professional, Maryanna is skilled at designing and implementing processes that enhance efficiency, drive collaboration across agencies, and support informed decision-making at the highest levels. She has managed large teams of intelligence analysts, developed executive-level dashboards for strategic visibility, and led enterprise-wide planning and growth strategies across government and industry.
Driven by a belief that there is a better way to support organizations doing meaningful work, Maryanna founded Willow Informative Services to bring structure to complexity, deliver honest insights, and help clients solve hard problems. She specializes in intelligence integration, data analytics, and countering hybrid threats and disinformation, helping clients achieve operational advantage in an evolving national security landscape.
At the 2025 Women In Defense National Conference, Maryanna will lead Breakout Session: From Insight to Action: Turning Intelligence into Operational Advantage, sharing practical strategies and real-world lessons on how data analytics, intel fusion, and collaborative partnerships can drive faster, smarter national security decisions.
