2024 Women In Defense National Conference

WID’s goal, since 1981, has been to provide professional development and networking opportunities to women working in support of U.S. national security. The 2024 Women In Defense (WID) National conference will bring together more than 500 women from across the nation to network and learn from government and industry experts. WID’s National Conference seeks to strengthen the defense industrial base by educating, empowering, and supporting a diverse and inclusive workforce.

The 2024 conference theme, “Foundations for the Future,” emphasizes the goal of our National Conference: to build relationships and skills to help our nation and our friends, allies and partners thrive during a period of strategic competition. China, Russia, Iran, North Korea and transnational extremist groups pose significant threats to our economic well-being and our national security. The WID 2024 National Conference will offer programming to build and strengthen foundational knowledge, skills and abilities  to help attendees achieve their personal and professional goals in support of the U.S. National Security Strategy, “…to protect the security of the American people, to expand economic opportunity, and to realize and defend the democratic values at the heart of the American way of life.”
