Bio
Nick Zuroski is the Founding President of the D.C. Student Consortium on Women, Peace and Security and a second-year graduate student in International Affairs at the George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs, concentrating in Global Gender Policy and International Law & Organizations. In his graduate program, Nick focuses on the gendered dimensions of peace, security, and conflict, and his capstone project with renowned anti-disinformation organization #ShePersisted examines gendered disinformation used by authoritarian regimes using the Philippines as a case study. A skilled policy analyst, he has a professional background in international development with USAID contractor CollaborateUp and political economy research with the US-ASEAN Business Council. Last year, he taught an undergraduate course on masculinities in international affairs with MenEngage Global Co-Director Laxman Belbase. For his undergraduate education, Nick studied at Hamilton College, where he majored in World Politics and Mandarin Chinese.
