Career Expo

WID is pleased to announce its first Career Expo, held during the 2017 Women In Defense National Conference. Intended to expose attendees to the wide range of defense and national security careers of today, participants have the unique opportunity to partake in a career “exploration” throughout the National Conference, with dedicated time to speak with displayers during the Networking Reception. More than just a traditional “job fair” WID is creating an opportunity for participants to discover the rich diversity of career paths in the defense and national security communities by engaging with representatives and with each other. During the evening Networking Reception, attendees will also have an opportunity to take a complimentary professional headshot.

Display Opportunities

Spread the word about your organization to National Conference attendees as a displayer at the Career Expo. Displayers will receive a 6 foot skirted table top space in a high-traffic area, one complimentary full-day conference registration and one Networking Reception/Career Expo-only registration (for attendance from 5:00pm to 6:30pm). Display time runs from the start of the conference through the evening Networking Reception, and displays must be staffed during the Networking Reception from 5:00pm to 6:30pm.

The cost for a display at the Career Expo is $1,000. Signup deadline for inclusion in printed conference materials is September 11, 2017.
