Date: Sept 7, 2017
Time: 8 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Place: Frederick County Chamber of Commerce, 118 North Market Street, Frederick, MD 21701
Agile. A buzzword? A methodology? A way of thinking? Yes. It’s all of these things and more. You may have even heard it enough that you’re starting to think it’s yesterday’s fad. Think again! Agile development simply means operating successfully within a change-driven environment and this mentality is just coming of age and being widely accepted in both the private and public sectors as a valid methodology. Originally developed as a set of software-development methodologies, the project management industry has come to accept the reality that we are all working within a change-driven environment.
In this workshop, we will examine various aspects of management from the perspective of the manager who has to deal with constantly changing goals, requirements and other environmental factors. Whether you are an experienced agilist, a purist, or a hybrid advocate, or just thinking about “going agile”, this workshop will help you apply flexibility to a wide spectrum of management challenges.
PMPs will receive 4 PDUs for this class. Coffee and light breakfast/lunch will be served.
